Classical Attraction Dressage Society

The Classical Attraction Dressage Society, a Region 2 Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF), is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the advancement and sport of dressage locally in Northeast Ohio through schooling shows, clinics and horsemanship education for riders of all ages, experience and skill levels.

WHAT's NEW?

CADS Winter Virtual Show Series #3

CADS will be offering a Winter Virtual Show Series in 2026 Starting in January.

Judging for all Submissions for March will be on March 27, 2026.

Scores count toward year-end awards.

A placing certificate will be emailed along with your score sheet for all Virtual Shows

Cost:

Office Fee: $15/entry, Ride Fee: $25/ride, $35/ride for non-CADS Members.

Video Guidelines Our Winter Series

Videos of tests must be unedited from start to finish. They must be one continuous recording with the horse and rider always visible.
Videos must be filmed in LANDSCAPE orientation.
After entering the arena, before beginning the test, a sign must be held up showing the show's name, the date of the show, the horse’s name, and the test. Remove the sign just before beginning the ride. Please ensure all information is clear and easy for the judge to read. The videographer can hold the sign and then move back to behind the camera or hold the sign in front of the camera at arm’s length while also holding the camera.
Keep the horse in the frame, paying close attention to the near corners. You may zoom in slightly on the far corners. Videos must be in focus.
Make sure to keep the letters in the frame that are elements of the test being performed.
The test must be videoed from C, where the judge would normally be seated.
When complete tests must be uploaded to Youtube and links emailed to cadsrider@gmail.com on or before the due date (the virtual date listed on the CADS Calendar).

Dressage Clinic with Rachel Jelen

CADS is excited to host a clinic with Rachel Jelen on April 4th at Brecksville Stables.

Rachel is a USDF Bronze Medalist who brings a thoughtful, practical approach to horsemanship. She welcomes riders of all levels and horses of every breed for an inspiring day of learning in both classical and western dressage.

Rides will be approximately 45 minutes and will be scheduled every hour to allow enough time to work together.

CADS members are free to audit and non-members are $10 at the door.
